Obama says that he cannot discuss the Blagojevich scandal
quite yet...
The president-elect said the "facts are going to be released next week" -- when he, by random coincidence, will be enjoying Christmas vacation in Hawaii...
But has he, as cynics allege, put off releasing information unhappy news until Christmas, hoping that folks won't notice? Note
this:
Obama pledged to make the review public, but said he decided to hold off because prosecutors asked for a delay and "I don't want to interfere with an ongoing investigation." U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald released a statement confirming the request.
Okie dokie. (Let the record show that I said "okie dokie" while wearing cool dark sunglasses.) So if Fitz and/or the FBI is investigating someone
now, and if said investigation will be done
soon, then can we presume that we will receive, as a Christmas present, a new arrest? Or at least a new report with new wiretap transcripts? New charges? Who do you think will be arrested, if there is a new arrest? Or will there be new charges against Blagojevich? In other words, what will change between
now and
not many days from now?

I'll take that for the Daily Double, Alex, and I'll make it a "true daily double. Thank you. Who is Obama's Chief of Staff-designate?
Obama has a tendency to say everyone misunderstood what he said. If he comes out with a report, that'll be hard to do if Rahm gets indicted.
