Obi the crook -- or: Barack Obama, meet Dahsudhu Hdusahfd

Strange donors: CBS News has found some Obama donors with obviously fake names...
CBS News has learned that two donors to the Obama campaign that gave a total of $7,722 appear to have made their contributions under fake names that look like they were written by a mouse running across a keyboard: Dahsudhu Hdusahfd of Df, Hawaii with the following employer CZXVC/ZXVZXV and Uadhshgu Hduadh listed as living in Dhff, Florida listed their employer as DASADA/SAFASF.
I hear the waves are bitchen in Df. Didn't Dahsudhu Hdusahfd play Russell Crowe's pal in Gladiator?

And isn't $7,722 over the limit? Whoever thought he could get away with this one was pretty damned audacious!

One wonders how many fake donations made use of more reasonable pseudonyms -- names like Sam and Eddie. More importantly, one wonders where the money came from and how much it all adds up to. Is this why Obi decided to do without public financing? Ya think?

Perhaps our next story may have some bearing on that question...

It's the Talking Tony doll! Pull the string and he snitches.

Yeah, it's (semi-) official: Barry's best bud Tony Rezko is gabbing to the feds about everything he knows concerning crooked pols Illinois. You know what that means: Blago and Obi are in trouble.
The filing asks for a postponement while prosecutors and defense attorneys "engage in discussions that could affect their sentencing postures."

Speculation has simmered for weeks that the key fundraiser for Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Sen. Barack Obama was whispering what he knows about corruption in Illinois government to federal prosecutors in hopes of getting a lighter sentence.
Here's the key quote:
Besides bankrolling a large portion of Blagojevich's campaign, Rezko raised substantial funds for Obama's past campaigns in Illinois — although none for his current presidential run.
AP should add: "None that we know of." Hey, Tony -- you wouldn't happen to know anything about a guy named Hdusahfd, would ya? How about Hduadh? Is he a pal of yours?

This situation brings up an interesting question of timing. Many have said that Fitz can't bring charges against a politician running for high office. On the other hand, if Obama wins, he can (and will) shut down the investigation and prosecution of himself and his cronies.

All things to all people: I strongly urge you to take a gander at this piece by Jennifer Rubin. Yeah, this is the kind of right-wing Zionist scribbling I normally would avoid, but in this case -- well, check it out:
You get the sense that he believes everyone can be played. Rashid Khalidi can believe that Obama finds no one suffers more than the Palestinians. Jews can buy that he was moved by the Holocaust from a summer camp experience. Voters in his Congressional race in 1990 can be told that there is no difference ideologically between him and 100% ADA-rated Bobby Rush, but the rest of the state in 2004 (and eventually the country) can buy that he’s a post-partisan reformer. Terrorists come to believe he shares their scorn for America, but Iowa voters hear him talk about his appreciation that only in America could his story have happened. Primary voters in Ohio are coddled with protectionist promises - and then privately scorned while he is talking to San Fransciso liberal donors.

There is no end to it — everyone gets the version of Obama that perfectly fits his own world view. It is not hypocrisy. It’s fraud. Whatever he told or shared with Ayers, Dohrn, Wright, or Pfleger counts for no more that what he told or shared with other now inconvenient groups and individuals. He’s sold the same piece of political real estate to multiple buyers for multiple, conflicting uses.

But one thing has been consistent. He has never, ever attacked political corruption, whether in Chicago or Washington. To the contrary, at the Woods Fund, the Annenberg Challenge and the U.S. Senate he’s laddled out earmarks and goodies to a long list of friends and associates — Wright, Pfleger, Will County ( home of FBI target Larry Walsh), Allison S. Davis, ACORN, etc. The one consistency has been his fidelity to political supporters. Everyone else and every political position were disposable.

I'm almost now convinced the fix has been in for a long time and it is to have a crook of a Dem in the WH as our economy and country go down the drain.

Rubin's commentary nails it, and one has to wonder why corporate press has been so insistent on hiding this thug's inconsistencies and dirt.

I think they'll get him in office by hook and crook, and then go after him full bore, exposing everything many of us already know.

It'll be bye bye Democratic Party. And good riddance. (From a lifelong Dem who's had enough.)

Yes, yes, I do. I've been saying for months that these fundraising numbers simply do not ring true to me.
