This may be the finest image ever published in a comic book. The more you look at it, the more you see. No matter what troubles you, no matter what questions gnaw at your soul, this panel will offer insight.
Unless there are three suns, the shadows under Robin's ear, cape, nose and lip are wrong. If it is casting such a strong shadow under his ear and lower lip, there should be one under his nose... and the shadow under the cape is just plain wrong.
Ooooh, how I love the silver age of comics, both the dialog and story lines, but even more so the artwork. I'm no artist, and am by no means an art critic, but it's such a brighter and cleaner look compared to most of the artwork in DC/Marvel comics today, which is so dark--literally--and over drawn, to my eyes.
Imagine the caped crusaders' heads are resting on the abdomen of a sultry-looking Batgirl who is looking directly at the reader with the start of a knowing wink forming in her expression...
