Christians are notoriously lazy scholars and do fall for the strangest things, dates, leaders, heresies, self rightousness, pride, carnal behavior, and a total neglect of the Spirit and The Word, so relax and watch Babylon, sixty miles south of Baghdad. It will be on the telly so we can all witness it (him) when he (antichrist) arrives.

Oh I forgot..that quote about the antichrist was not from the NYT, itwas from the NT. Much more relevant to the subject at hand.

You know what I think the problem is? I think religious people, or fanatics of all sorts, have an inability to understand English. Thus, when I asked "Is there a rumor going around about 2007...?" this anonymous person thought I asked "When is Jesus coming back?

The rebuilding of Babylon by Saddam, was the principal setting, designed several thousand years ago, when Babel was built from slave laboring bricks made from clay and "bitumen", (oil, bubbling up through the cracks in the desert floor)..like today..no different, as the oil corporations build their sky scraping towers of wealth on the backs of our labors as they mercilessly conspire together to suck the planet dry at the expense of the rest of us.
From now on, a wise man will pause and rethink his entire reality..especially today, the first day on Gregorians new year. (the Mayans system, "Tzolkien" like Tolkien with a z), lends us more perspective (like Tolkien does still), and assists us in enlarging our viewpoints and broaden our God given minds.
Today is a perfect day to pause amd reevaluate our perspectives and points of view so that we can renew of strength and rise like eagles and fly higher and see further and wider and then return to land with a fresh message of hope and optimism to share with anyone and everyone with ears to hear and eyes to see.
