It also appears that McPlod was very keen on the public advising them of sightings of the Cherokee.<BR/><BR/>The Mercedes Reg No's remain however, unpublished. If the bomb was designed to assassinate an individual then the bomb-maker is/was incompetent. The design of the bomb(s) - as revealed so far - was very poor. It's notable that a great deal of hype has emanated from the authorities about potential wholesale death and carnage, but to get propane and petrol to the point of viability is fairly hit and miss. It also depends largely on ambient conditions. In warm or hot climates there's an increased chance of such devices working. Because the pro-western King Mohammed Idris was deposed in favor of Gaddafi with our blessing and help, once the good king began to talk about nationalizing the oil bidness there. Moreover, when King Idris was mounting a counter-coup, the US warned Gaddafi in advance.
