Nearly every time I see him remotely interviewed on teevee, he strikes this pose: The face points right -- the viewer's right, not his right -- while the eyes point center-left. Have you also noticed this tic? Do you think it is a conscious choice?
Meanwhile, in Stone Country: Roger Stone is blaming all of Donald Trump's problems on -- get this -- KellyAnn Conway.
Longtime Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone has found someone to blame for the Republican nominee’s recent struggles: campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. Stone has been directly and indirectly jabbing the relatively new Trump official as a “Cruzbot” who isn’t well-versed in politics and wants “to be on television” just to “talk about how smart” she is.
When the moderators of the debates were announced in early September, Stone tweeted: “Who the hell in the Trump campaign approved these debate moderators?” He then tweeted to someone who agreed with his criticism: “Ask Kelly Ann [sic] Conway who made this boneheaded decision!”In other words, she's not part of the dick club.
Following the first presidential debate, Conway told CNN that she “thought Lester Holt did a great job." Stone responded on Twitter: “Then you need to learn something about politics #Cruzbot.”
My readers may hate me for saying this, but I have genuine respect for Conway. I don't like her politics and I certainly have no respect for the guy she chose to work for. But nobody else on that campaign has demonstrated any sense or conventional political skill. Every time I see her on teevee, I'm astonished by her ability to make the best of a horrendous situation -- and with this candidate, it has been one horrendous situation after another.
Stone, you will recall, initiated the attempt to smear the Khan family. And how well did that work out for Trump?
Added note: My very best to the people displaced by Hurricane Matthew. I certainly hope that Mother Nature does not hit as hard as predicted.

Agreed. While I can't quite bring myself to respect her, you can't argue that she oversaw Trump's best run in the polls since the general election began. A steady rise that only ended with Trump himself messing up the debate.
Trump might have a hearing problem in one ear, and compensates by "putting his best ear forward", but does not want to admit that he's less than superhuman. As someone who also has a one-ear problem, I can sympathize.

Agreed. She has done a fantastic job.

Because he does not want the wire to the earpiece in his left ear to show?
