There's a word for it, Monica: What do we call a woman who takes the money...?

Did Monica finally take a Republican pay-off? Of course.

Once upon a time, she testified "I hate Linda Tripp," and she also made it clear that she felt bullied by Ken Starr. She did everything she could to avoid testimony. She understood that she was being forced to take part in a Republican scheme to discredit the best president we've had since JFK.

Now, if you read her Vanity Fair piece, the story is different. You know something sneaky is happening when a writer tries to have it both ways. In the current version, Monica (if she really did do her own writing, which I doubt) would have us believe that an "abuse of power" allegedly occurred because she offered a blowjob to a guy who probably had not had a good blowjob in quite a while.

I cannot stand women who play those games -- women who offer themselves sexually and then pretend that the guy is some sort of abusive beast because he took the offer. I truly hate those sick, manipulative harpies. (Nearly every male has had run-ins with them.) I also hate the feminists who rationalize this kind of behavior on the grounds that All Men Are Penis-Monsters And Are Therefore Always Guilty Guilty Guilty No Matter What The Circumstances.

Guess what: Right now, those feminists (or at least the GOP trolls pretending to be feminists) are taking part in a plot to keep the first female president from taking office.

Of course this new book was published to scuttle Hillary's chances. Of course Monica is taking a pay-off.

Publishing is how pay-offs are done these days. The hardbound book is the new version of the traditional brown paper bag. The advance she received no doubt will far exceed the royalties her book will earn.

By the way: Isn't it cute that the media is pretending that this new volume is her first book, even though she wrote one before?

Monica, whom I used to like, has reached the age at which people start to think about how much lovelier life would be if the mortgage were paid off.

You want proof that this book is a Republican plot? See here.
The wife of former Vice President Dick Cheney says she thinks the Clintons might have pushed the Monica Lewinsky Vanity Fair story to “get that story out of the way.”

“I really wonder if this isn’t an effort on the Clintons’ part to get that story out of the way,” Lynne Cheney said during an interview on “The O’Reilly Factor” Tuesday night.
Mirror imaging. We know that Rove and other Republican propaganda experts are masters of this tactic. When Lynne Cheney made that statement, the Republicans put a signature on this op. On their op.

Get that story out of the way? WTF? Has Lynne Cheney forgotten that story was a couple of decades out of the way already? Her comment is one of the worst distraction techniques I've heard in a while.

Certainly agree that anyone, woman or man, using sexuality to manipulate and harm someone else is reprehensible.

But the bit about "a guy who probably had not had a good blowjob in quite a while" -- whoa. 1) that's a guess into an area which is none of our business, and 2) is no excuse. Did he lack the use of his hands? Hardly. Access to/amounts/quality of sex from existing partners has little to do with why men buy sex or have affairs, IIRC review studies of this issue in sociology & psychology courses.

I am reminded of an old joke which says that if men only knew how to do it right, they wouldn't have to pay for it.

However -- it's too bad that Lewinsky is trying to gold-dig yet more out of that tawdry affair. And yes, only a few Republicans are going to pay attention to her any more.

Monica needs money--and the bastards on the other side are scared to death of Hillary.

The Perfect Storm.

Luna, I might as well make my feelings known, and I might as well be candid. We've all speculated as to what the Bill and Hillary marriage is really like. Don't pretend you haven't. My take: I think Bill and Hillary Clinton love each other and have not had sex in a long long time.

I also think that a LOT of marriages head in that direction. Maybe the majority.

Nobody talks about that tendency. If we do talk about it, we say things like: "Well, it SHOULDN'T be that way" or "They should seek therapy."

But all such responses are asinine. Therapy is useless. Marriages become sexless for reasons that are ultimately beyond either reason or morality.

As for Monica -- she's in her forties and has suddenly realized that she has little to show for her life beyond the fact that she once had an adventure. So I can understand why she is doing what she is doing. Doesn't mean I approve.

What do we call her? We call her an entrepreneur leveraging her assets.

Joe, I see your take on marriage and sex as spot-on. There is no rhyme or reason for how couples attend to their sexual affairs. I suspect the group that is supposed to be influenced by the regurgitated revelations, the millennials, will not be. Their concept of morality is very different from those of that past era. Hillary handled things right then, and she is doing it now. But I guess the republicans feel good to have something besides Benghazi to push against her.

Yeah. I know it's all about the woman WHORE. Right. Sure thing.

Any other MAN want to call out the whores rather than their (notice the correct spelling)own God-forsaken dicks?

Yeah no. I didn't think so.

Goodbye.

Sure, a president of the united states gets a blow job from a woman not his wife. And we blame her.

Yeah, let's go with that distraction. Yay.

Fuck you, tsi. Monica wasn't a whore when she was working in the White House. She's a whore NOW for working with the Republicans and taking the payoff. That was my point and YOU FUCKING KNOW IT.

And frankly, I'm sick of people saying that Monica deserves cudos because she wants to be seen as something more than a sexual creature. If she wants THAT, then the answer is simple: She should DO SOMETHING WITH HER LIFE.

If people know her as nothing more than a semen receptacle, that's because in her four decades on this planet she has done nothing else noteworthy.

And yeah, SHE offered herself sexually to Clinton. I know you are wedded emotionally to a scenario in whcih he raped her or forced her or even seduced her, but none of that is true, as Monica herself has stated.

Asshole feminists like you make feminists look bad. If you call yourself a feminist, then why are you trying to help the Republicans in their Stop Hillary campaign?

So many assumptions, Joseph. So much presumption.

Thanks so much, Joseph. I don't know Ms. Lewinsky except through what I've been told by propagandists. I probably know more about Slick Willie and his wife but that is questionable as well.

Frankly, you're points leave much to be desired. I give no kudos to Monica, or Hillary, or Bill and his willy for that matter. Prostitutes are prostitutes no matter the gender, or office.

Your frothing-at-the-mouth is very unbecoming.

You call me a feminist and that I'm trying to help Republicans. Which one is it?

I'm no Repuke, but for another Clinton or Bush or Obama to become president again makes my skin crawl. As a matter of fact I can't think of a single person alive today that would qualify for the office. Know why? Because they are all corrupt, lying, greedy, money-kissing assholes.

What do you call it when corporations run governments? I think it may be called fascism or something.

The fact that you concentrate on Monica and her sexytimes, rather than Bill and his abuse of the oval office, is fascinating. Go ahead, distract away. I have not one fuck to give. Commenting is easy.

P.S. You have no idea what I'm emotionally wedded to. You douchebag.
