Good news

Al Franken is in the lead, by a miniscule amount of votes. So sayeth CIM News, an organization which apparently doesn't know what the term CIM means in certain circles. However, the lead could change again, according to AP.

Part of me would prefer to see, or rather hear, Franken back on the radio. But right now, he's the only thing standing between Coleman and re-election.

That people would even consider voting for trash like Franken---a third rate COMIC---shows how low we've sunk.

How VERY low.

I absolutely want Al to win. He's a Clinton Dem, a staunch Clinton ally and defender, and we need many more of those. And if you've ever heard him speak or read his books, there's no way you can honestly say he's not smart. He's an honest liberal (not a lying "progressive"), he cares, he works hard.

That you call him "trash" and want fewer people like him in politics shows what a sad excuse for a human being you are.

And Joe, I agree with you about Al being back on the radio, too; after he left, Air America became less and less worth listening to until finally it descended completely in the morass of CDS.

But I say, why not do both? The same research applies to both jobs. He could at least do a weekly radio address.
