Ca-RAP from Camille

In Salon, Camille Paglia refers to "Obama's easy, lanky, reflective candor." Candor? NAFTA, FISA, the surge, campaign finance, gay marriage, guns -- just how many more lies does this guy have to tell before the brainwashees wake up and smell the bullshit?

In the same piece, Paglia refers to the Clintons as "narcissistic," an oft-heard adjective with no foundation in reality (except to the extent that any presidential aspirant must possess a certain egomania). By contrast, Barack Oba-Me-Me-Me may be the only human being in history to have written two autobiographies before the age of 46, even though he has yet to accomplish a damned thing.

"We are the ones we've been waiting for" sounds awfully narcissistic to me.

Paglia is another writer one should never take seriously.

She's a media creation, just like Obama.

Oh geez, you read Camille Paglia? She's the most narcissistic scholar-gypsy of our time. Not only that, but she always has borscht in her shorts.

He has another book. He's selling it on his site detailing plan for the US.

Apparently it's not enough for him to tell people his plans, like he should, instead he has to sell it to them as well.

Camille is notably narcissistic in her own right.

Over at noquarter is an article by a Republican about the Democrats being the party of the "id". Read it and as I was reading the comments they took me over to Americandigest.org (I'm going places I've never been before!), anyway the article there is called "Monsters From the Id" and in the comments section was this - "My local McCain/Palin office has run out of "Democrats For McCain" yard signs.

Barack Obama: “I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”
