I want to see Barack Obama apologize for using tactics exactly similar to those used against Gore in 2000. And I want to see the "progressive" community apologize for spreading those lies.
The Obama camp is still milking the manufactured "RFK" flap, even after Obama himself claimed not to have taken offense. As you know, his camp did a mass emailing of Keith Doberman's absurd "Special Comment."
And now Michelle -- God, I cannot stand that woman! -- continues to play it for all it is worth.
Fifty years from now, historians will quote glop like this to demonstrate just how fanatical and sick the Obama cultists became.

Tony got $100 million in state funds to provide low-cost housing. He stole money intended to help the poor. He socked away the money overseas, stopped paying mortgages, stopped paying his gas bills, and left his tenants to shiver in the Chicago cold. Those buildings were supposed to be a refuge for the poor; he turned them into a hell within hell, festering with crime and disease. Now, those properties are good only for the wrecking ball.

He bought it for you even though he claims to have no money, having socked away all his ill-gotten gains overseas. One of his filthy overseas partners -- a man notorious for ripping off Iraqi reconstruction funds -- provided Tony with the cash that bought your damn house.

Bill Clinton's administration channeled hundreds of millions of dollars into black communities. As near as I can tell, the only black people ever aided by Barack and Michelle Obama are named Barack and Michelle Obama.

I can think of two other black people aided by B/M: Sahsha and Malia. Isn't she supposed to be tough? Isn't Michelle the one who wanted to beat up on Bill? Aren't they the ones who went on & on about Hilary's fake crying? And here's a lawyer, who works for goons, crying because she needs to be protected from HRC???? If the Democratic bigwigs allow this fraud to win the Democratic nomination, it can only be concluded the party is deliberately throwing this presidential election to the Republicans in hopes of winning in 2012. Of course this is likely to backfire depending on who McCain's running mate is. I don't expect McCain to run for a second term, should he win in the fall.

I'm able to accept most of the above as probably true, but this now repeated claim that BHO got 'a cut' from all or most of the corruption seems unlikely and unsupported by any evidence I've seen to date.
Is '$10,000.00' the sum total of all the 'cut' BHO got, since that is the only money number I've seen claimed for BHO's 'take' (from Fitzpatrick's indictment)? If it isn't (seems too small, unless his take was a miniscule percentage number), where is the rest of the money he supposedly got?
Nor does it make sense, in my mind. You do not have to 'cut in' a young, no-name fledgling politician for points on any and all corruption stemming from his help to you (a flat rate, low five-figure sum seems about right for that). If you were getting somebody powerful in Chicago, say, a Dan Rostenkowski, chairman of the semi-all-powerful Ways and Means Committee, then of course, such a figure could command an on-going percentage for his part in your corruption. But a junior startup like BHO? Somebody like that should have been cheap to buy.
My question isn't hostile, but more a request for what additional information there may be to support this claim that BHO got his cut from most or all these deals, specifically as to monies received from this alleged kickback share.

sof, I'm sorry to ask you look again at Pringle's "Curtain Time" series, but it's easier to read that than to go through several dozen online news stories. That $10K was, as I recall, from the teacher's union board, and it stood out because it was just a direct contribution.
But there were plenty of other businessmen doing the "pay to play" thing. If you check the repeated motif in Pringle's work, they would give Blago a certain amount and then give Obama a fraction of that amount -- anywhere from 1/10th to one-third. It was a pattern.
The pattern held true even for the Las Vegas firm that got caught up in all all this -- Crystal Communications. I've been looking into that story and should have something up on it next week. That's the story with the dead body in it.
Meanwhile, meditate on this: Why would a firm in Vegas be giving money to the campaign of an Illinois state senator?

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that last summer Illinois Senator Barack Obama told officials in the Teamsters union that he favored ending the Independent Review Board (IRB) created in 1989 by the federal government to rid the union of organized crime. ((Actually THAT was a "deal" cut with the Clinton White House to allow the Union to "police itself" as an alternative to being disbanded by the Justice Department.)) Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for Obama, confirmed the story, saying that the candidate believed that the IRB had "run its course" because "organized crime influence in the union has drastically declined."
The Teamsters subsequently endorsed Obama for president, in late February.
If there is continuing mob influence in the Teamsters, it is probably centered in the Chicago area, and in the last decade, the Teamsters in Chicago have shown little enthusiasm for rooting out corruption in their ranks. As a veteran Chicago politician surrounded by a veteran Chicago campaign staff, Obama had to have known this -- and that makes his warm words to the Teamsters all the more disturbing.
