As Sam Kinison said: "IT NEVER STOPS! IT NEVER STOPPPPSS!!!"

Remember the flap about the "robo-calls" in North Carolina? Remember how the Hillary-haters pretended that this was an eeeevil vote suppression scheme?

Then we found out that Women's Voices, Women's Votes has been in business for years. We found out that -- far from suppressing the vote -- they have done a wonderful job of registering millions of women and minorities. Only a nutcase would ever make the case that registering voters for the general election counts as suppression. (Of course, if motivated, you can make the case for any proposition, however offensive to common sense.)

Conservatives in red states (such as NC) have legally harassed the group, just as they harassed ACORN and similar increase-the-electorate groups. Indeed, the U.S. Attorney scandal was, to no small degree, about conservative forces subverting the justice system in order to stomp out groups like WVWV and ACORN.

In other words, the anti-WVWV propaganda was another Obamabot attempt to do the GOP's work.

Guess what? They're still at it! Over on Democratic Underground, they've resurrected the entire propaganda line, pretending that this issue has never been discussed before!

One post from "Thor" Friedman could have ended this nonsense, since the progs will listen to him as they will not listen to me. But he would rather find some rationalization for the propaganda. A forgivable cowardice: Those who make a thin living from blogging dare not piss off the prog mafia.

In this election season, the propaganda machine assures that no manifestation of Clinton Derangement Syndrome will ever be forgotten, even after it has been debunked.

Just the other day, while eating a free Steakhouse burger at Burger King, I overheard a couple of younger guys talking about Hillary, the lesbian killer of Vince Foster who was "involved in some crooked real estate deal where she stole a bunch of money from a guy running a Savings and Loan." (Not an exact quote, but close enough.)

I said: "You guys sound like Ken Starr."

And one of the young guys says: "Who's Ken Starr?"

IT NEVER STOPS! IT NEVER STOPS! THEY'RE STILL STICKIN' ME! IT NEVER STOPS! AAAHHHHOOOOO!!!!!!!

Sam wouldn't have been able to do a one-arm push up without the extra load, anyway. But seriously, had he stayed in the clergy, do you think he might have been Hillary's pastor? All kidding aside, since Sam departed too soon, in early 1993, doesn't it seem like the collective pop unconscious has projected onto Hillary every heart-breaking girlfriend, wife, and hooker Sam had known?

IT STOPS (or it manifests far differently) once we go through the sound barrier.

I don't mean to be obscure, but consider how, inching up to the sound barrier, in speed or in time, perhaps only after years upon years of struggling to get all the bits right, the wall is broken through. And on the other side it's different.

There is a known principle that applies here, and at least one man, older than my 60-something by a generation, knows it well and will speak to it in a webcast soon as it applies to our present political-economic situation.

The same, or a similar principle manifests in the power of metaphor, when language so soars--as perhaps it was meant to do all along--and carries us through walls we have been cursing or didn't even know were there.
