Now THAT's terror!

"Clean" interrogation techniques have led to capital murder charges against six men allegedly linked to 9/11. Torture had been used on the six before the cleanliness campaign took hold. I like the way Larisa puts it: "How do you un-torture someone?"

She notes that Khaled Shiekh Mohammed (after being waterboarded) confessed to planning a terror attack against Washington State's Plaza Bank, which was not founded until 2006 -- well after his capture.

People under torture say the craziest things! (concept for a new reality show?)

Evidently, many if not all of the Nuremberg defendants were tortured into confessing implausible, because impossible, deeds.

I have long opposed torture, belonging to Amnesty Intl. and the Center for Victims of Torture. I've only recently heard of the tortures of the Nuremberg defendants. Perhaps that was the reason that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the US proclaimed those proceedings a kangaroo court?

What about war crimes charges against the guys who lied us into Iraq and wound up getting millions of people killed? Never mind, keep your eyes on the patsies ladies and gentlemen.

I had the same idea for a reality show called : Under torture. You could make the most macho guy admit he's gay or an ex-marine that he plotted to commit a terrorist act agains the US.

It would not be worse than "24".

Upon review, I have found that Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Stone, referred to Nuremberg as a 'high class lynching party,' not as a kangaroo court. Although it amounts to the same thing, I regret the mistaken memory.
