Yes, the Gannon story just got even stranger...!

Jeff Gannon, a real American he-ho, had found a media champion -- or at least a sympathizer -- in Gabe Caggiano, a reporter for the Montgomery County Sentinel. Gannon, whose real name is Jim Guckert, has given a suprising number of interviews to Caggiano, although the Sentinel reporter now feels "betrayed" by Gannon.

Why, one wonders, was Caggiano's coverage of the Gannon affair so lenient, even supportive? Caggiano does not have a reputation as a nice guy. Far from it.

Here's an excerpt from one story about Caggiano during his days as an on-air reporter for a Fox affiliate in Austin:

Until his firing on July 28, former "Fox-7" reporter Caggiano was very likely the most hated man in Austin television journalism. A few phone calls here and there can certainly make one believe so -- very quickly, one finds colleagues who complain that he is rude, unprofessional, sexist, belligerent, hot-tempered, and more than a little scary. Channel 7 reporters, former co-workers, journalists from rival stations, even Austin correspondents from non-competing stations in other cities -- all nearly fell over themselves in rushing to complain about Caggiano. And all, except one, asked to remain confidential, often citing a fear of physical violence from Caggiano.
His antics earned him the nickname "The TV terrorist." For more -- including his bizarre fracas with the Secret Service during a visit by Hillary Clinton -- see here.

It's odd for an ambitious newscaster to behave in this fashion -- most people in that business understand that one should "play nice" to get ahead. But a Democratic Underground poster has noted something even odder about Caggiano:

The guy's practically a dead ringer for Jim Guckert/Jeff Gannon!

About ten years ago, Caggiano did a little work in Hollywood. According to the IMDB, he did only a couple of bit parts; one was in a Matlock episode and the other was in a film called "Radioland Murders." (It isn't hard to understand why he didn't last long -- likability counts for a lot in this town.) A frame blow-up from the film reveals a Caggiano who could be Jeff Gannon's fraternal, if not identical, twin.

There's one major difference: Caggiano maintains a full head of hair, while Gannon/Guckert favors the "Mr. Clean" look.

We're safer ascribing this resemblance to coincidence. Still, it's an odd coincidence. The one reporter who (until recently) supported Gannon is a Fox veteran who somehow keeps getting work despite a terrible rep -- and who looks like he could be Gannon's close relative. Very odd indeed!

The link to the story about this Gannon look-alike reveals something interesting: Gabe responded in the comments section, just Like Gannon would do. Also, it was posted just before gannongate erupted, and was posted from Washington.

The coincidence just got stranger. A Google search led me to http://www.readyformedia.com/anne.htm, which contains the following text: "Gabe Caggiano has most recently been an on-air reporter for Fox 11 News in Los Angeles. Prior to coming to California, Gabe was the political reporter for Fox News in Austin, Texas covering the State Capital and Texas Governor George W. Bush. Previously, Gabe covered two New Hampshire primaries and the Gulf War for NBC News with Tom Brokaw."

One small clarification:

"Radioland Murders" and "Matlock" both filmed in North Carolina. Caggiano got bit roles that would have been cast there instead of LA.

A Google search of "Gabe Caggiano" and "actor" brought me to this page: http://www.dcrtv.org/mb0310e.html

"Dave's response: Gabe said he wanted to do an article for DCRTV and didn't mind if we ran it in the Mailbag. He also sent along some bio info:

My bio is like this. Covered Gulf War for NBC in 91 while working in San Antonio, Covered President Bush as the Political Reporter for a Fox Station in Austin in 96-97 and was the first Washington Correspondent for Al Arabiya's english news programming, which they cancelled in August. During a mid career sabbatical in the mid 90's, I lived in Wilmington, N.C. and had a successful run as a stage and film actor, appearing in George Lucas' "Radioland Murders" and " Matlock." I have also been a freelance reporter for WRC and WJLA."

I don't know if there's any significance to the NC era, but I know one person that he acted with, and the folks who most likely cast him. Going on ten years, so I doubt anyone remembers.

THIRD F***ING TIME I'm trying to post this!

One small clarification: "Radioland Murders" and "Matlock" both filmed in North Carolina. So he lived there for a period of time. Googling "Gabe Caggiano" and "actor" brings you to this site: http://www.dcrtv.org/mb0310e.html

...and about one-third of the way down:

"Dave's response: Gabe said he wanted to do an article for DCRTV and didn't mind if we ran it in the Mailbag. He also sent along some bio info:

"My bio is like this. A search of the cast list for his credits reveals that I know a guy he acted with, and most likely the people who cast him. But after ten years, I doubt anyone would remember, unless he made the same kind of impression on his agents and fellow actors as he did with the press.

TO: Gabe Caggiano, Austin/DC/Iraqi TV et alia

Dear Gabe,

Thank you for reading my website, with up to 15,000 other readers per day. I try to keep it interesting. I like dueling headlines with the CIA
National Enquirer, founded by OSS/CIA agent Alexander Pope. It's top headline was "Grossed Out Doctor Vomits Inside Patient". I can't quite keep up with that, but I try.

From the photos I've seen of US-perped genocide in Iraq (http://nowthatsfuckedup.com),
I'd say that several doctors have vomited inside patients lately. You must have seen a lot of that during your TV documentary in Iraq War #1. Lucky you to survive the Gulf War Vaccine Sabotage, unlike myself and my wife and 350,000 US military veterans.

RE: Maybe homohooker "Jeff Gannon" (aka kidnapped Johnny Gosch; aka "GaYbe Caggiano" the "TV Terrorist" on Austin TV News and Matlock actor in gay Hollyweird) screwed his way through Bush White House and volunteered to leak Rover's Top Secrets to Novak, knowing the Bush Gang could then be indicted for treason?
http://piratenews.org/weblog.html

Notice I used the word "MAYBE" in the same sentence. I even parodied "your" alleged name.

Your resume reads like a CIA employee. Are you now, or have you ever been, an "employee" or "subcontractor" or "confidential informant" for
US Central Intelligence Agency, NSA, DIA, FBI, ECT, or any "police" agency? If so, how much do they pay you? Where do I apply for a job?

John Miller, the Jewish ABC "reporter" who is the only person to interview Wahabi Jew Usama bin Laden on TV, is now employed by LAPD to run its "counterintelligence" (domestic spy on Americans) division. Why didn't Miller just make a citizen's arrest on FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist? Usama bin Laden, aka the Jewish name "Tim OSSman", purchased anti-aircraft Stinger missiles when he visited Los Angeles, California, according to declassified CIA memo. Perhaps he bought those missiles from John Miller? But then again, Usama declared on multiple interviews that he had nothing to do with the 9/11 massacres, and the alleged Arab hijackers are still alive, and did not appear on any passenger lists nor any airport video on 9/11/2001.

RE: "About ten years ago, Caggiano did a little work in Hollywood.

http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2005_03_06_cannonfire_archive.html

Your resume omits your alleged "Hollywood" role, and the photo from Cannonfire looks a lot like "Gannon", and nothing like your attached pdf publicity photo. Is "Gannon" impersonating you with ID theft, with another alias? "Gannon" is a confessed "master of disguise"....

Are you also a victim of the Bush Gang's CIA mind-kontrol sex-slave cult, like "Gannon"? If so, I welcome you to blow the whistle, so to speak. Join the crowd.
